This role involves comprehensively managing payroll operations for multiple entities, both local and international (Malaysia, Myanmar), ensuring accurate and timely salary payments in compliance with company policies and statutory regulations. Key responsibilities include preparing statutory submissions (e.g., CPF, IR8A, IR21), managing financial aspects like payroll invoices, journal entries, and budget preparation, and overseeing tax filings for overseas employees. Additionally, the position requires reconciling payroll costs, assisting with audits, preparing management remuneration reports, and collaborating with IT/vendors on system maintenance and improvements.
skills and experience required
You need to be at least degree qualified with 3 years of experience in payroll and have an accounting background. You need to understand finance terms and have working knowledge on Balance Sheet, P&L statements and Journal Entries. It is non negotiable for this person to have stayed more than 3 years in past employments.
