Oversee platform development for high-performance ARM-based SoCs, managing bootloaders, board bring-up, and hardware abstraction layers.
Architect robust security frameworks, including secure boot sequences, cryptographic firmware signing, and reproducible build systems.
skills and experience required.
Junior Level: Minimum 3 years of embedded software experience with professional-grade C programming.
Principal/Staff Level: 10+ years in embedded Linux, with significant hands-on experience customizing Linux distributions and middleware (e.g., systemd, D-Bus, or similar IPC frameworks).
Networking Mastery: Expert knowledge of the Linux networking stack, wireless protocols (802.11), and user-space wireless daemons.
Hardware Proficiency: Proven track record of delivering production firmware for major SoC vendor platforms (e.g., Qualcomm, Broadcom, or Marvell).
Tooling: Strong proficiency in C, Python, and shell scripting within a modern DevOps/SDLC environment.
