Supplier Management & Strategic Partnerships
- Drive supplier selection strategies and manage strategic alliances to optimize vendor performance.
- Monitor and improve supplier KPIs across Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Responsiveness (QDCR).
- Shape supplier relationship frameworks using Business Relationship Management (BRM) processes.
- Conduct quarterly price reviews and implement continuous cost-reduction initiatives.
- Support active production transfers, product lifecycle management (LCM), and manufacturing ramp-up activities.
Product Transfer & New Product Introduction (NPI)
- Lead procurement operations for product transfers and new product introductions.
- Drive supplier sourcing, onboarding, contract negotiation, and end-to-end project execution.
Cross-Functional Leadership & Coordination
- Align cross-functional strategies across Procurement, R&D, Quality, Operations, EMS partners, and external suppliers.
- Enable transparent communication and fast, data-driven decision-making across all stakeholder groups.
Quality Assurance & Material Control
- Partner with Quality Engineering on supplier audits, quality support, and continuous improvement projects.
- Facilitate Material Review Board (MRB) processes to coordinate internal and external disposition of non-conforming or suspect inventory.
skills and experience required
- Diploma in Engineering in Electrical and Electronics
- Preferably candidate with strong experience handling electronic commodities, primarily PCB and PCBA, as well as resistors, connectors, capacitors and other electronic components
- Experience working with Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS) providers is crucial, as the incumbent will primarily manage suppliers within this category.
