about the job
Manage sourcing and purchasing of raw materials, ingredients, packaging, and consumables to support production and business needs
Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to optimise cost, quality, lead times, and long-term partnerships
Oversee supplier performance, compliance with food safety standards, and resolution of quality or delivery issues
Drive inventory planning in collaboration with operations to balance availability, shelf life, and working capital
Lead cost-saving and continuous improvement initiatives while mitigating supply chain risks
Partner cross-functionally with QA, Operations, Finance, and Logistics on planning, audits, and new product introductions
skills and experience required
- Min. 5 years of relevant procurement experience in handling poultry/seafood/perishables or any food manufacturing/distribution industry
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or Food Science related field.
