- Lead the configuration, customization, and deployment of the IBM Sterling Order Management System (OMS) for new projects and continuous enhancements.
- Serve as the System Superuser, defining and managing system configuration settings, master data, and business rules within the OMS.
- Contribute to the strategic planning and development of the Commerce Solutions roadmap, collaborating closely with Senior Directors.
- Manage the full project lifecycle for OMS-related initiatives, acting as the primary liaison between end-users (internal business teams) and external vendors.
- Utilize development and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, and GitHub to manage backlogs, track project progress, and document solutions.
- Provide technical guidance and support, utilizing skills such as JavaScript, for minor customizations or troubleshooting within the OMS environment.
- Focus heavily on resolving critical business issues such as oversell conditions and inventory gaps by optimizing OMS logic and integration with other supply chain systems.
- Partner with regional teams to support and expand OMS capabilities across 15 countries in the APAC region.
- Directly support markets including North Asia (Hong Kong, Taiwan, Macau) and Southeast Asia (Singapore, Malaysia) for direct-to-consumer (Direct Biz) operations, as well as managing complexities in distributor-focused markets (including ANZ).
- Work with internal stakeholders (e.g., Finance, Supply Chain, Retail) to understand business requirements and translate them into effective OMS solutions.
- Assist in onboarding and integrating additional headcount into regional support teams to ensure scalable and effective OMS support.
skills and experience required
Background in the FMCG or luxury retail industry. Hands-on experience with scripting or programming languages, such as JavaScript.
Proven experience as a Superuser, Solution Consultant, or Project Manager focused on a major Order Management System (OMS).
Strong technical understanding and development experience with IBM Sterling Order Management (SOM) is highly preferred.
