Key Responsibilities
1. Project & Process Coordination
Manage the full lifecycle of improvement and capex projects (initiation through closure).
Collaborate with technical, operations, and procurement teams to break down projects into tasks with clear timelines.
Maintain project schedules, trackers, and action logs; proactively follow up on deliverables.
Support managers in defining scopes, milestones, and deliverables.
2. Reporting & Performance Tracking
Prepare structured weekly/monthly progress reports highlighting status, risks, and decisions required.
Develop dashboards for KPIs (e.g., timelines, budget adherence, backlog) using tools like Excel or Power BI.
Consolidate inputs from multiple departments into clear management summaries.
Ensure accuracy and consistency of project documentation and data.
3. Process Control & Improvement
Map and monitor key operational processes within an industrial setting.
Understand technical documentation (e.g., layout drawings, equipment lists, P&IDs) to track project impacts.
Oversee implementation of process improvements and SOPs; identify bottlenecks and propose corrective actions.
Support compliance with internal standards and audit requirements.
4. Stakeholder Coordination & Governance
Organize project review meetings, document decisions, and track follow-ups.
Act as a central point of contact for project information between headquarters and site teams.
Assist in preparing presentations and decision papers for senior leadership.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Process, Industrial) or related technical discipline.
Minimum 5 years of experience in:
o Oil terminal / tank farm operations,
o Refinery or petrochemical plants, or
o Other heavy industrial / technical facilities with structured projects and processes.
Proven experience managing technical or operations-related projects, maintenance/capex initiatives, or process improvements.
Proficiency with project management and reporting tools (MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI).
Analytical mindset; comfortable with KPIs, schedules, and budgets.
Exceptional reporting and presentation skills; able to simplify complex information for management.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to manage priorities under time pressure and meet deadlines.
