As a key member of the core compliance team, your role is to keep abreast of regulatory developments in banking laws and regulations and assess the impact, as well as interpret new/ updated regulations and provide advisory and recommendations accordingly.

- Provide advisory on all compliance matters pertaining to mainly Banking Act and Securities and Futures Act (SFA), and all other MAS notices including new or revised requirements
- Revise and update compliance manuals to align with local and Group policies and procedures
- Perform gap analysis on new or revised requirements and assess for any material impact to the business lines
- Conduct the review, development and implementation of a risk-based compliance monitoring programme
- Assist in handling regulatory consultations and reviews, as well as MAS submissions, notifications, regulatory approvals, surveys and request for information
- Plan and conduct compliance training to all employees
skills and experience required
- Bachelors Degree
- Minimum 6-8 years of relevant experience in regulatory compliance from a Bank
- Strong technical knowledge of key financial acts and regulations from the relevant monetary authority
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective reporting and advising senior stakeholders
