About the role

Develop and enhance regulatory reporting solutions using Python, ensuring accurate and timely submission of data to global regulatory bodies.
Design and implement data pipelines, validation logic and automation across complex banking systems and databases.
Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, analysts and fellow engineers to understand reporting requirements and deliver scalable technical solutions.
Deploy, maintain and improve applications within containerised and CI/CD environments (e.g., OpenShift, Jenkins, Git).

Skills and experience required

Computer science degree or related
Minimum 5 years of software development experience in Python in UNIX and Windows 7 environments.
Experience in Application containerisation (e.g. Openshift).
Knowledge in CICD.
Experience in Linux and Shell Scripting
Solid knowledge of SQL, ideally with DB2 and PostgreSQL.
Experience with GIT, Jira, Jenkins and BitBucket.
Experience in financial industry preferred.
