engineering insurance, with a deep understanding of facultative arrangements and global claims practices.
In order to be successful in this position, you will be expected to manage the end-to-end process of reinsurance claims, including claim intake, investigation, evaluation and settlement. You will be expected to conduct reviews on reinsurance policies to understand coverage terms, negotiate settlements with claimants, brokers to achieve fair and timely resolution of claims while minimizing financial impact. The ideal incumbent should be someone that is highly responsible, analytical and have strong sense of ownership.
skills & experience required
- 8+ years of experience in reinsurance claims
- Strong understanding on reinsurance market
- Proficiency in claim processing systems and experience handling SAP system
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to evaluate complex claims and make sound decisions
- Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
