key responsibilities
- Retail Launch & Expansion
- Lead the end-to-end process of opening new stores, from location scouting and lease negotiations to overseeing interior fit-outs and ensuring timely launches.
- Partner with key stakeholders to ensure all new openings meet brand standards and business timelines.
- Commercial Strategy & Financial Management
- Define and execute revenue strategies and sales objectives across the retail portfolio.
- Take ownership of P&L performance, cost controls, and discount structures to ensure strong financial outcomes.
- Identify and implement opportunities to boost profitability and operational sustainability.
- Performance Analysis & Growth Optimization
- Monitor business metrics and store performance regularly to identify trends, areas for improvement, and untapped opportunities.
- Implement solutions based on insights and performance data to enhance operational output.
- Marketing & Brand Activation
- Work closely with marketing teams to develop region-specific campaigns that drive foot traffic and brand visibility.
- Support in-store promotional initiatives to align with overarching marketing goals.
- Team Leadership & Store Excellence
- Lead, coach, and develop store teams to uphold high standards in customer service and operational delivery.
- Build a performance-focused culture through regular feedback, training, and clear KPIs.
qualifications and experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in retail management, preferably in large-scale chain operations.
- Ability to communicate with Chinese speaking stakeholders and superiors.
- Knowledge and experience in store openings, including sourcing for store locations.
- Strong hands-on operational experience combined with a strategic, systems-oriented approach to business management.
- Demonstrated leadership in team management, risk control, and talent development.
