About the job
This is a pivotal role where you will support the regional risk framework and ensure all business activities align with the highest regulatory compliance standards.
Support the development and enhancement of the regional Enterprise Risk Management framework and risk appetite monitoring.
Maintain comprehensive risk profiles and perform deep-dive analyses to facilitate informed business decision-making.
Act as a key point of contact for compliance matters, including financial crime, sanctions, and anti-money laundering monitoring.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure all regulatory requests and returns are completed accurately within stipulated deadlines.
Promote a strong risk-aware culture across the organization through training and active engagement with various business units.
Skills and experience required
The successful candidate will demonstrate a proactive approach to governance and a deep understanding of the insurance regulatory landscape.
Degree in Finance, Accounting, Risk Management, or a related professional discipline.
At least 4 years of relevant professional experience within the insurance or reinsurance sector.
Solid understanding of local regulatory requirements and MAS guidelines.
Direct experience in Enterprise Risk Management, financial crime compliance, or sanctions monitoring.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to navigate complex business priorities.
