You will be responsible for identifying, measuring, monitoring, and reporting all significant risks across the Wealth Management business.
- Develop and maintain the Risk Management Framework, policies, and procedures to align with evolving regulations
Lead the Risk & Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) process
Define, monitor, and report on KRIs related to operational failures, client service issues, and transaction processing errors
Investigate and analyze significant operational risk events and losses, ensuring root causes are identified, and effective remediation plans are implemented and tracked
Develop and oversee the effectiveness of client suitability controls related to the appropriateness for investment products
- Monitor and report on sales practices to mitigate the risk of mis-selling or breaches of client best interest standards
skills and experience required
- Bachelor's degree from a reputable institution
- Minimum 5-8 years of experience in Risk Management or Internal Audit within a Private Bank or Wealth Management firm
- Good understanding of Wealth Management products and the associated risks
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of presenting and articulating complex risk issues effectively
