Your role involves:
Design, develop, and deploy scalable, high-performance, and reliable real-time data streaming pipelines.
Implement and manage our data lakehouse architecture, ensuring data is efficiently stored, organized, and accessible for various analytical and operational use cases.
Develop and optimize ETL/ELT processes to ingest data from a wide variety of source systems.
Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and software engineers to understand data requirements and provide clean, reliable datasets.
Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot our data infrastructure to ensure high availability and data quality.
Implement data governance and security best practices within the data platform.
Evaluate and adopt new data technologies and tools to enhance our data platform's capabilities.
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for data pipelines, architectures, and processes.
Skills and experience required
As a successful applicant, you will have experience in streaming technologies such as Apache Kafka, Apache Flink or Azure Event Hub.
Experience working with data lake and/or lakehouse architectures such as Hadoop, Delta Lake, Iceberg and Microsoft OneLake.
