- Lead end-to-end advanced analytics initiatives, from initial problem framing to final deployment.
- Formulate and optimize machine learning algorithms to solve complex commercial challenges.
- Process large datasets, resolve data quality issues, and build robust analytical pipelines.
- Write highly scalable, production-grade code leveraging modern software engineering practices.
- Utilize cloud environments to deploy and manage analytical solutions.
- Translate complex technical outputs into actionable strategies for cross-functional business leaders.
- Provide technical direction, code reviews, and mentorship to junior team members.
skills and experience
- Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a highly related quantitative field; or a bachelor's degree coupled with substantial industry experience.
- Proven track record of delivering end-to-end data science solutions in a commercial setting.
- Advanced programming proficiency in Python and standard machine learning libraries.
- Hands-on experience building scalable applications on cloud platforms such as GCP.
- Deep foundational knowledge in statistics, mathematical modeling, and data wrangling.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to navigate ambiguous environments and changing priorities.
- Demonstrated experience guiding or mentoring fellow technical professionals.
