Key Responsibilities:
Maintenance Strategy & Planning
- Develop and implement maintenance strategy, including detailed preventive maintenance plans
- Define asset maintenance needs based on criticality, risk, statutory compliance, and historical data
- Optimize maintenance schedules to ensure equipment reliability and regulatory adherence
Preventive Maintenance Program
- Design and adjust preventive maintenance activities tailored to specific equipment, leveraging OEM guidance, industry standards, and regulatory requirements
- Work closely with planners and technicians to establish scope, procedures, tools, and frequency for PM work orders
- Monitor and manage lifecycle information of terminal assets
Capex Planning & Execution
- Lead planning and execution of sustaining and service-related Capex projects, aligned with operational or sustainability goals
- Develop project scopes, cost estimates, and manage tender processes
- Ensure compliance with internal engineering and safety frameworks throughout execution
Maintenance Improvement & Technical Support
- Analyze equipment failures and inspection findings to propose improvements and corrective actions
- Support root cause analysis (RCA), troubleshooting, and guide technicians through complex issues
- Recommend enhancements to improve operational efficiency and asset integrity
Ad-hoc & Cross-functional Support
- Coordinate contractors and vendors, ensuring alignment with maintenance schedules and compliance standards
- Contribute to audits, corporate initiatives, and technical training as needed
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or a related field)
- Min. 3 years of experience in plant maintenance or project engineering within an industrial or process plant environment
- Familiarity with industry standards such as API 653 / API 570 is an added advantage
- Solid understanding of maintenance best practices, health & safety regulations, and technical troubleshooting
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and continuous improvement mindset
- Comfortable working cross-functionally and managing external service providers
