The role:
This is an opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to take full ownership of high-value renewable energy projects from conception through to completion. Reporting to the Head of Projects, you will be the driving force ensuring these critical projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget, playing a pivotal part in shaping a sustainable future.
Responsibilities:
End-to-End Project Leadership: Leading a project team in planning and executing daily and weekly tasks, ensuring all milestones are met efficiently from kick-off to final handover.
Commercial & Contractor Management: Taking charge of the project budget (CapEx), reviewing and approving contractor quotations and claims, and managing contracts to ensure expected deliverables are met.
Stakeholder Engagement: Acting as the key point of contact for clients, government agencies, and third-party inspectors, managing relationships professionally to ensure projects run smoothly and all regulatory clearances are obtained.
Safety & Performance Excellence: Championing a strong safety culture by identifying and mitigating project risks. You will consistently track and measure project performance to drive continuous improvement.
Requirements:
A degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
At least 5 years of full-spectrum project management experience, ideally within the Solar, Renewables, or Infrastructure/Construction sectors.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills
