about the role
We are searching for an accomplished Group Tax Senior Manager to take on a highly strategic role providing critical regional tax advisory leadership and expertise. This pivotal position involves the end-to-end project management of complex group financial activities, including major investments, acquisitions, significant transactions, and fundings across the region. You will oversee and ensure robust tax compliance by reviewing and approving tax computations, tax returns, and all necessary supporting work for entities both locally and in regional jurisdictions, ensuring adherence to the highest standards. The Senior Manager is responsible for ensuring that all related party transactions meet stringent Transfer Pricing requirements and documentation standards. Furthermore, the role involves leading and directing Group Tax initiatives, including key strategic projects such as BEPs implementation and compliance, alongside other essential group tax filings and notifications.
skills and experience needed
To succeed in this Senior Manager role, you must possess a minimum of eight years of relevant, progressive tax experience, with a demonstrated track record in leading international M&A tax structuring and complex tax planning projects. A Degree with a major in Accounting or Tax, or an Accredited Tax Professional certification, or comparable professional credentials is required. Preference will be given to candidates with proven leadership experience in overseeing and reviewing tax matters within key jurisdictions such as China, Vietnam, the Philippines, or the Middle East. The ideal candidate is a strong team player who collaborates effectively, takes full accountability for commitments, and is able to adapt their communication style across diverse, senior audiences. You must possess the strategic ability to efficiently manage and progress multiple complex assignments simultaneously, demonstrating exceptional attention to detail and consistently high levels of accuracy, particularly when working under pressure and tight deadlines. Finally, we seek an individual with a growth mindset who proactively stays abreast of commercial arrangements, business model changes, and evolving tax technical regulations, positioning the company for future success.
