Key Responsibilities:
Act as the primary liaison between operations and suppliers on quality-related matters
Drive resolution of supplier quality issues, including CAPA review and follow-up
Lead supplier audits and performance evaluations to ensure quality standards are met
Collaborate with internal buyers to assess and onboard capable suppliers
Support APQP process implementation and final part approval for assigned commodities
Evaluate supplier quality systems and provide technical guidance to both suppliers and internal teams
Ensure supplier capacity and quality systems align with divisional requirements
Provide technical input during sourcing decisions from a quality standpoint
Drive continuous improvement at supplier sites and support engineering projects as needed
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering disciplines
Min. 5 years of relevant experience in supplier quality or engineering
Certified Internal Auditor for IATF16949/ISO9001 is preferred
Familiar with advanced SPC tools, APQP processes, and root cause analysis methodologies
Prior experience handling PCB or PCBA suppliers is an advantage
- Proficient in engineering drawings; knowledge of GD&T is preferred
