We are currently seeking a Sourcing Engineer to support sourcing activities related to mechanical components and vendor management.

*This position is on a one-year renewable contract.

about the job

• Assist with day-to-day sourcing operations, including identifying suppliers, managing RFI/RFQ/RFP processes, and supporting price and contract negotiations.
• Work closely with sourcing managers on the management of suppliers for direct materials and engineering-related services.
• Maintain and update supplier information, including records on the Approved Vendor List (AVL).
• Contribute to strategic sourcing efforts through data analysis, benchmarking, and vendor coordination.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders (engineering, quality, operations, and marketing) on parts evaluation and qualification.
• Participate in meetings and maintain regular communication with teams based in Mainland China.

skills and experience required

• Diploma/Degree in Engineering specialisation
• min. 2 years of relevant sourcing experience in mechanical materials
