Our client is a well-know company in precision-engineering company. They are looking to hire a Supply Chain Manager to manage supply chain operations and ensure the smooth continuity of production.
about the job
- Strategic Leadership & Planning: Define and execute the department's strategic direction and core objectives to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Technical & Requirements Management: Analyze and interpret complex customer material and secondary process requirements, including detailed drawings and technical specifications.
- Cross-Functional Sales Support: Provide expert support to the Sales department by developing accurate quotation costings based on material and process inputs.
- Vendor Sourcing & Collaboration: Act as the primary liaison, communicating and coordinating with vendors across all procurement and logistics activities.
- End-to-End Procurement Management: Direct the full procurement lifecycle, including sourcing, RFP/quotation management, complex price and lead-time negotiation, Purchase Order generation, and real-time delivery planning and monitoring.
- Supplier Relationship Management (SRM): Implement robust vendor management programs, covering initial audit and approval processes, and continuous performance evaluation.

- Preferably 8 years of purchasing experience in manufacturing industry
