This role will work closely with cross-functional teams, providing strategic tax guidance, supporting international tax compliance, and managing tax aspects of financing and M&A transactions.

Reporting to the Global CFO, you will take a leadership role in managing all aspects of tax compliance and advisory across the group’s Asia-Pacific operations. This includes overseeing corporate income tax, indirect taxes, transfer pricing, and tax incentive applications across jurisdictions. You will act as a key advisor to senior leadership, providing strategic input on cross-border tax planning, M&A structuring, financing arrangements, and risk management. A critical part of your responsibilities will involve leading the implementation and ongoing compliance with BEPS Pillar 2 requirements, including Country-by-Country reporting and GloBE Information Return submissions. You will also collaborate closely with external advisors and internal stakeholders to ensure robust tax governance, proactively assess regulatory developments, and lead discussions with tax authorities. This is a hands-on, high-impact role with significant influence on the group’s tax strategy, compliance framework, and long-term business decisions.
Skills and experience required
- Degree in Tax, Accounting, or related field with professional accreditation (e.g. accredited tax professional).
- Relevant years of relevant experience, ideally including time in both a Big 4 firm and a multinational corporation
- Strong technical knowledge of Singapore tax legislation and frameworks.
- Familiarity with international tax laws, freight taxation, BEPS regulations, and transfer pricing.
- Experience managing tax compliance, planning, and advisory in complex corporate environments.
- Proven track record in engaging with IRAS and other government agencies.
- Hands-on experience with accounting systems is an advantage.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to influence and advise internal stakeholders.
- A team player with a problem-solving mindset, high integrity, and strong work ethic.
