The ideal incumbent will be expected to develop and implement business strategy, initiatives and plans for the Property & Casualty segments and be responsible for P&L. The successful incumbent will also be required to oversee product development, review policy wordings and underwriting guidelines. In this position, you will be expected to develop and mentor junior underwriters and ensure strict compliance with all laws, regulatory provisions and group policies.
skills & experience required

• 8+ years of relevant experience underwriting commercial lines business
• Ideally with focus and specialization in Engineering and Construction and some leadership experience
• Deep expertise in Commercial Lines, underwriting, pricing, referrals, policy wording review and product enhancements
• Strong understanding of distribution channels structure and excellent interpersonal and communication skills
