about the job
In this strategic role, you will drive the sustainability agenda across Southeast Asia, translating global ESG goals into commercial opportunities and actionable business strategies.
- Drive the development and execution of a comprehensive regional sustainability strategy, including the creation of innovative green finance products such as carbon credits and sustainable lending solutions.
- Partner with relationship managers to provide high-level advisory services to corporate clients, supporting their transition goals and structuring financial solutions aligned with sustainability KPIs.
- Oversee the implementation of sustainability risk frameworks and ensure alignment with global policies while navigating local regulatory landscapes and ESG challenges.
- Build and maintain strategic alliances with external industry bodies, NGOs, and global initiatives to reinforce the organization's position as a thought leader in the green transition.
- Act as the primary subject matter expert, facilitating knowledge transfer to commercial and risk teams to ensure a unified approach to ESG integration across the business.

skills and experience required
- Bachelor degree with 8 years of experience in coverage role/ product role in corporate banking and 4 years in ESG/ sustainability structuring corporate loans/ sustainable finance solutions
- Good to have product experience in project finance, experience in commodities/ project-finance related sectors
- Proven track record in developing sustainable finance strategies and products
- Stakeholder management experience with the ability to influence senior leadership and engage effectively with C-suite clients across the region
