Key Qualifications
Academic Background: University degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related technical field.
Technical Expertise: Advanced, high-level proficiency in computer-aided design (specifically CAD and Rhino 3D).
Leadership: Demonstrated ability to manage, mentor, and guide a department of digital designers and CNC operators.
Industry Experience: Individuals with a history in precision luxury goods, jewelry design, or intricate fabrication are strongly encouraged to apply.
- CNC Programming: Understand, optimize, and refine multi-axis toolpath data and G-code for complex machining operations.
Core Responsibilities
Departmental Oversight: Provide strategic direction and daily management for the internal 3D design division.
Technical Documentation: Convert conceptual ideas into detailed engineering schematics and manufacturing-ready blueprints.
Prototyping: Utilize additive manufacturing and 3D printing systems to build physical proof-of-concepts.
Creative Alignment: Maintain consistent communication with the company Founder to ensure technical outputs precisely match the brand's aesthetic vision.
Visual Rendering: Transform 2D sketches and concepts into high-fidelity 3D models for client and stakeholder reviews.
R&D Innovation: Drive continuous improvement by researching emerging hardware, fabrication technologies, and methodologies to optimize manufacturing workflows and unlock novel design capabilities.
