about the job
- This is a pivotal role designed for a meticulous finance professional to drive reporting accuracy and tax compliance excellence across the SEA region
- Lead the regional month-end financial closing process to ensure high levels of accuracy and adherence to global reporting frameworks.
- Supervise intercompany transactions and dispute resolutions while managing relationships with regional shared service centers.
- Act as the primary point of contact for external audits and assist senior management in the preparation of statutory financial disclosures.
- Oversee comprehensive tax reporting workstreams, including GST submissions, withholding tax governance, and transfer pricing documentation.
- Prepare critical statistical data for regulatory bodies and provide financial insights for various regional business initiatives.
skills and experience required
... - A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in a financial reporting or compliance capacity within a large-scale multinational environment.
- Having experience in tax accounting especially within the areas of withholding and corporate taxes would be highly advantageous.
- Good understanding of regional accounting standards, taxation requirements, and financial regulatory frameworks.
- Having experience in SAP is an added advantage.
