This regional leadership role serves as a primary legal advisor for employment matters across the Asia Pacific region, ensuring that regional business objectives are met while mitigating risks. You will advise on non-contentious and contentious employment matters across the employment life cycle from hiring to terminations and support major organizational projects such as reorganisations, mergers and acquisitions and post-acquisition integration. Additionally, you will deliver training to business units and HR on key employment and compliance risk areas.
skills and experience required.
You are a qualified legal professional admitted to practice in a common law jurisdiction with at least 5 years employment law experience gained in private practice and inhouse. You have a deep understanding of the regulatory frameworks and employment landscapes across Asia Pacific markets and have prior experience in managing complex or sensitive employment matters. You are driven, hands-on and adopt a pragmatic approach. You are a proactive team player who possesses a positive attitude with a successful track record of partnering effectively with and influencing cross-functional stakeholders and senior management.
