about the job
Reporting to the APAC HR Director (with a functional reporting line to Global Rewards team), you will be responsible for the overall Total Rewards and Performance strategy across 7 key countries within APAC; Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, China, India, Australia and New Zealand. In addition, you will:
- Lead and manage rewards and compensation programs and frameworks for the markets; including developing new regional policies and digitalisation of processes
- Partner closely with in-country HRs and MDs as part of the Regional COE; providing accurate data and advise to business stakeholders and employees
- Conduct annual salary and performance benchmarking, job grading, salary structure, market research and ensure all compensation is competitive with industry standards and business objectives
- Preparation of relevant reports and presentations, leading all rewards related APAC projects
- Work closely with senior business stakeholders on business forecast, budget cycles, development of compensation solutions, implementing effective benefits and rewards programmes

skills and experience required
- Degree in Business, Finance, Human Resources or equivalent
- 10+ years' experience in total rewards and compensation
- Experience in the manufacturing, industrial and / or heavy machinery industry preferred
- Excellent understanding of structuring total rewards programmes across APAC markets, market knowledge and best practices
- Relevant experience across Asia-Pacific is essential
- Track record in stakeholder management and business partnering with good influencing skills
- Proven record of managing rewards frameworks across both blue collar and white collar workforce
- Open to travelling responsibilities (15% - 20% across Asia-Pacific)
