In this role, you will play a key part in supporting the marine portfolio and ensuring the seamless administration of insurance policies. Your responsibilities include:
Assisting in the preparation of quotations, proposals, and presentations for marine cargo insurance products.
Liaising with brokers and clients to gather essential information required for the underwriting process.
Handling the issuance of marine cargo insurance policies, endorsements, and certificates.
Ensuring all documentation complies with company guidelines and regulatory requirements, while following up on any pending paperwork.
Supporting marketing initiatives and maintaining updated client and prospect databases to assist in portfolio growth.

skills and experience required
Educational Background: A Diploma or Degree in any field; those with a background in Maritime Studies are welcome to apply.
Professional Qualifications: Possession of BCP, PGI, and ComGI certifications.
Professional Experience: 1-2 years of relevant experience within the insurance industry is preferred; however, entry-level candidates with a strong interest in underwriting are welcome to apply.
Communication Skills: Good interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate professionally with brokers and clients.
Core Competencies: A conscientious team player who is tactful and able to manage daily tasks and priorities effectively.
