In this role, you will be responsible for day-to-day placement activities and managing client relationships. You will work to secure competitive coverage and provide reliable risk advice to a dedicated portfolio of accounts.
Account Management: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their insurance programs are managed effectively.
Market Placement: Negotiate with underwriters in the direct insurance and reinsurance markets to achieve the best terms for clients.
Technical Support: Assist in the preparation of renewal reports, market presentations, and policy documentation.
Market Analysis: Monitor market conditions to provide timely updates and advice to clients regarding their coverage.

skills and experience required
To be successful in this role, you should have practical experience in the brokerage space and an understanding of the placement process.
Education: A Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university, preferably in Business, Finance, Economics, or Engineering.
Certifications: Must have valid BCP and ComGI certifications (Singapore College of Insurance). Professional insurance qualifications such as ANZIIF or ACII are highly regarded.
Industry Experience: A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a brokerage environment is required.
Technical Focus: Experience in Property and Engineering insurance is essential. This experience must be gained from a reinsurance broker or a direct insurance broker.
Added Advantage: Knowledge or exposure to Casualty and Financial Lines is a plus.
Attributes: Communication skills and the ability to build relationships with both clients and underwriters.
