I am representing a global leader with presence in more than 50 countries and offering a full-suite of digital services/transformation , Cloud and IT solutions to both Enterprise and Public Sector verticals.
As part of their expansion, they are currently looking for a Business Development Manager who will play a critical role in driving top‑of‑funnel growth by generating new business opportunities, nurturing early‑stage leads, and supporting the overall sales pipeline through proactive outreach.
This role focuses on engaging prospects via phone, email, social platforms, and digital tools to understand customer needs and position suitable solutions.
About the role
Reporting to the Senior Sales Director, your responsibilities will includes
- Engage potential customers to uncover challenges, priorities, and buying readiness.
- Qualify inbound and outbound leads to determine suitability and next steps and arrange meetings, product walkthroughs, and discovery sessions for senior sales colleagues.
- Ensure smooth and complete handover of qualified opportunities to the sales team and work closely with presales and delivery teams to develop business cases for active opportunities.
- Respond promptly to inquiries and follow up on leads generated through marketing campaigns.
- Provide accurate information about offerings while maintaining a professional and consultative tone.
- Build rapport with prospects to increase engagement and conversion potential.
- Log all interactions, lead updates, and sales activities accurately in CRM systems.
- Maintain clean, updated data to support forecasting and pipeline visibility.
- Track activity metrics such as outreach volume, conversion rates, and meeting bookings.
Skills and experience required
- Self‑driven, energetic, and motivated to meet activity and conversion targets and Comfortable working in a collaborative, fast‑moving environment.
- Experience in inside sales, lead generation, customer engagement, or tele‑prospecting preferred.
- Exposure to B2B environments, technology solutions, or service‑based offerings is beneficial
