In this role, you will be responsible for the development and management of a Property & Casualty (P&C) portfolio. You will act as a primary point of contact for commercial clients, helping them navigate their insurance needs with professional advice and tailored solutions.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Portfolio Growth: Identifying and developing new business opportunities to expand the firm’s commercial footprint.
Client Engagement: Building and maintaining professional relationships with prospective clients and industry partners.
Strategic Advice: Developing industry-specific value propositions and insurance strategies to meet the evolving needs of clients.
Proposal & Tender Management: Leading and supporting the end-to-end process for RFPs, tenders, and formal proposals, ensuring high-quality and timely submissions.
Market Representation: Representing the firm at client meetings, formal pitches, and industry networking events.
Governance & Compliance: Ensuring all business activities and sales pipelines are tracked accurately and adhere to local regulatory requirements.

skills and experience required
Education & Experience: A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (or equivalent professional experience) with at least 5 years of experience in the commercial insurance sector, specifically in P&C.
Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to handle professional discussions and resolve complex queries effectively.
Analytical Thinking: A logical approach to problem-solving and the ability to evaluate client needs effectively.
Organization: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, RFPs, and deadlines within a professional environment.
Industry Knowledge: A practical understanding of the Singapore commercial insurance market and Property & Casualty lines.
Bonus Attribute: Prior experience or a certification in Project Management is highly regarded, as it aids in the coordination of complex tenders.
