I am representing a fast-scaling, global Payment Service Provider that is redefining the future of cross-border commerce by providing merchants with one seamless platform to process both traditional card and next-gen alternative payments, eliminating friction and accelerating cross-border transactions worldwide.
They are setting up a Regional Hub locally and looking for a Channel Partnerships Manager as part of their pioneer team and to identifying, acquiring, and managing a robust portfolio of channel partners to significantly accelerate merchant adoption of their payment solutions
About the role
Reporting to the Senior Director, your responsibilities would includes
- Identify, qualify, and onboard high-value channel partners across the region, including but not limited to e-commerce, gaming , financial services platforms
- Lead and close complex commercial agreements and partnership contracts, ensuring mutual value and adherence to regulatory compliance in cross-border payments.
- Implement a rigorous channel management framework, meticulously tracking partner pipelines, activation rates, and overall revenue contribution against key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Collaborate with the Product and Marketing teams to develop compelling joint value propositions and go-to-market strategies that are relevant to specific vertical markets
- Gather market intelligence and feedback from partners regarding product gaps and competitor activities to inform our product roadmap and maintain our competitive edge in global payments.
Skills and requirements
- Min 4-5 years of relevant experience in Channel, Partnership, or Business Development roles within the FinTech, Payments, or E-commerce industries.
- Demonstrated success in acquiring and managing indirect sales partners (e.g., platforms, integrators) to drive measurable revenue growth.
- Ability to thrive in a lean, fast-moving startup environment and a roll-up-your-sleeves attitude, exceptional resourcefulness, a comfort with ambiguity, and a relentless focus on execution and delivering results
