As a Conflicts Associate based in Singapore, you will manage the daily analysis and resolution of potential ethical and legal conflicts to ensure compliance with global risk management standards.

• Analyse conflict of interest reports for new client matters and lateral hires to identify potential risks.
• Resolve identified conflicts by obtaining necessary waivers and drafting internal ethical boundary documentation.
• Review and edit engagement letters to ensure alignment with professional responsibility rules and firm policies.
• Provide expert consultation to partners and management regarding complex professional conduct issues.
• Supervise the conflict clearance workflows and maintain accurate records of all resolutions.

skills and experience required

• Juris Doctor (JD) or Bachelor of Laws and an active bar license are mandatory requirements.
• At least 3 years of practice experience ideally within a dedicated disputes or conflicts department.
• Extensive knowledge of conflict-of-interest principles and professional responsibility regulations across multiple jurisdictions.
• Proficiency in utilising specialised legal software and corporate research databases for information governance.
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
