This is an opportunity to build and lead a vital function with complete autonomy. Our client is seeking a highly experienced and meticulous Corporate Secretary for a new Singapore office, offering a flexible, part-time arrangement that allows for a healthy work-life balance. You will be empowered to manage all corporate secretarial and compliance matters for the Singapore entity independently. Core responsibilities include handling all statutory filings with ACRA, managing corporate records, and providing strategic advice to the board on governance and regulatory matters. This position is ideal for a professional who thrives on independence and is ready to act as a trusted advisor.
Skills and Experience Required
- ICSA / CSIS Qualification: The successful candidate must possess the ICSA/CSIS qualification, demonstrating a strong foundation in corporate governance.
- Proven Expertise: At least 5 years of experience as a corporate secretary with a deep understanding of Singapore's legal and regulatory framework (e.g., Companies Act, ACRA filings).
- Autonomy and Proactiveness: Proven ability to work independently and manage all statutory compliance functions with minimal supervision.
- Attention to Detail: Excellent organizational skills and a meticulous approach to record-keeping and documentation.
- Communication: Strong communication and advisory skills to liaise with the board of directors and external parties.
