Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, this is a senior leadership role responsible for the overall HR strategy and operations of the company. The Head of HR will be tasked with shaping the company's culture and shaping the HR function to be a strategic business partner. You will manage a team and oversee all aspects of the employee lifecycle.
Key responsibilities include:
- Partner with stakeholders and Heads of Departments to align HR policies and strategies with business objectives.
- Developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives that are aligned with the overall business strategy.
- Overseeing all HR functions, including talent acquisition, compensation and benefits, performance management, employee relations, and training and development.
- Leading and mentoring a team of HR professionals, fostering a high-performance and collaborative environment.
- Ensuring compliance with all labor laws and regulations.
- Managing the annual HR budget and driving process improvements within the department.
skills and experience required
- A bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field.
- A minimum of 12-15 years of progressive experience in human resources, with a proven track record in a leadership role.
- Experience within the retail/consumer industry is highly preferred.
- Strong strategic thinking and business acumen, with the ability to translate business needs into effective HR solutions.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with strong stakeholder management capabilities.
- In-depth knowledge of local and regional labor laws and HR best practices.
