Reporting directly into the Asia-Pacific HR Director, you will work closely with the Country Managing Director and manage a team of 3. In addition, you will:
- Manage full end-to-end HR business partnering and operations for Korea; including but not limited to the areas of talent acquisition, compensation & benefits, payroll, learning & development and organization development
- Work closely with global team on organizational strategy to drive employee engagement, ensuring alignment with organization’s business vision, mission and values
- Ensuring job grading, salary structure, compensation and benefits are reviewed annually and competitive with industry market practice
- Managing talent acquisition strategies; including recruitment, advising mangers on candidate selection policy and practices, supporting onboarding / offboarding
- Preparing quarterly reports for headcount budgets, establish and maintain appropriate HRIS and scorecard for measuring metrics that support the achievement of organisation goals
- Manage all employee relations matters and conduct regular performance reviews, providing guidance to managers on people development
skills and experience required
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Min. 12 years’ experience in Human Resources with 5 years within a managerial capacity in the retail industry, ideally in luxury fashion, luxury watches and / or jewelry.
- Track record in job grading and rewards / compensation is a plus
- Ability to be both strategic and hands-on in execution and operations
- Strong understanding of local labour laws and regulations in Korea
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills; ability to connect with employees of all levels
- Demonstrated ability to drive HR initiatives that align with business objectives
- Proficient in using HRIS and other relevant HR tools
