As the Director of Transactional Liability, you will lead the structuring and placement of M&A insurance solutions, including Warranty & Indemnity (W&I), Tax Liability, and Contingent Risk insurance. Your key responsibilities will include:
Leading the strategy and execution of the Transactional Liability business unit.
Advising private equity firms, corporate acquirers, and legal advisors on complex risk transfer solutions for M&A transactions.
Negotiating comprehensive coverage terms with international insurers and underwriting markets.
Managing the end-to-end deal process, from initial inquiry through to policy inception.
Driving business development efforts to expand the client base and strengthen market presence.
Mentoring and developing junior brokers within the team.

skills and experience required
Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in Transactional Liability (W&I), M&A Law, or M&A Advisory.
Proven track record of successfully managing complex M&A insurance placements.
Strong network within the Private Equity, Legal, and M&A advisory communities.
Exceptional negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
Leadership experience with the ability to inspire and manage a high-performing team.
Legal qualification (LLB/JD) or relevant insurance qualifications are highly desirable.
