We are currently seeking a technically proficient Electrical Engineer to join their engineering team in Singapore.

You will be responsible for the design, development, and reliable performance of High Voltage (HV) and Medium Voltage (MV) electrical systems, including SCADA for offshore substations. Your role ensures all systems comply with stringent industry standards and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities
System Design & Development: Collaborate with EPC teams and system suppliers to design electrical systems, including switchgear, transformers, and protection relays.
Technical Analysis: Perform load flow, short circuit, and system studies using software such as ETAP or DIgSILENT to ensure compliance with IEC, IEEE, and DNV standards.
Documentation: Prepare and review Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), cable schedules, protection coordination, and other technical documentation.
Testing & Commissioning: Conduct Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), providing commissioning support to verify system performance.
Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot HV/MV system issues and implement preventive maintenance programs to enhance system reliability.
Collaboration: Work closely with vendors, clients, and cross-functional teams to ensure safe and reliable operations.
Leadership: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers with a strong commitment to safety.
Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Experience: Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in HV/MV engineering, preferably within an offshore or marine environment.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in electrical design software and in-depth knowledge of electrical engineering principles and offshore safety regulations.
Certifications: Relevant certifications in High Voltage or Medium Voltage engineering are a distinct advantage.
Soft Skills: Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, with the ability to adapt to a fast-paced, ever-changing offshore environment.
