About the Job
Reporting to the Strategic Finance Projects Lead, you will be the primary architect for data integrity and system reliability within a high-velocity multi-channel retail environment. This role is not about routine reporting; it is about building the bridge between massive consumer datasets and accurate financial truth. You will investigate system discrepancies, audit data logic, and ensure the P&L is backed by bulletproof SQL queries. The ideal candidate is one who thrives in "ambiguous" data environments, possesses a gritty problem-solving mindset, and can navigate the friction between technical code and commercial P&L requirements.
Skills and Experience Required
The ideal candidate will possess a recognized degree in Computer Science, Finance, or Accounting, supported by at least 3 years of experience in a data-intensive commercial role. Absolute technical proficiency in SQL is a non-negotiable requirement. You must demonstrate comfort navigating large databases and possess the ability to use Excel as a secondary tool for complex data manipulation. Prior experience in "Finance Transformation" or automating reporting workflows (via Python or Al-enabled tools) is highly preferred.
