across Asia. You will act as a strategic partner to various cross-functional department heads, ensuring financial discipline and alignment with broader organizational objectives. Your core responsibilities involve leading the end-to-end regional budgeting and forecasting cycles to ensure accurate financial planning based on comprehensive research and data. You will conduct deep-dive analyses into actual performance versus targets to identify operational risks, market trends, and investment opportunities. Additionally, you will evaluate the financial implications of proposed business activities, recommending enhancements to current practices while partnering with accounting teams to maintain reporting consistency and compliance with global policies. Finally, you will spearhead ad-hoc projects aimed at optimizing working capital and inventory management to achieve key performance deliverables. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated individual who can navigate a complex matrix structure and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of seniority.
Skills and experience required
The successful candidate should possess a degree in Accountancy or Finance, complemented by a professional qualification such as a CPA. You must have at least five years of professional experience within a multinational environment, with a minimum of two years specifically focused on regional financial planning and analysis. Technical proficiency in advanced spreadsheet functions and sophisticated financial modeling is essential.
