Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, this role is a critical pillar in the regional finance team, specifically centered on managing the end-to-end General Ledger and Record-to-Report (R2R) lifecycle for the Japan market. You will be the primary steward of financial data integrity, overseeing the accurate and timely capture of everything from bank records and fixed assets to payroll and local tax filings. Beyond standard ledger maintenance, you will orchestrate monthly accruals and complex intercompany reconciliations while serving as a high-level key user for our financial systems, resolving interface issues and spearheading enhancements to drive operational excellence. This is a dynamic position where you will build robust relationships with internal stakeholders and external authorities alike, acting as a proactive business partner who stays ahead of industry trends to ensure seamless compliance across the APAC region. The ideal candidate is a proactive collaborator with a sharp eye for detail and the technical agility to thrive in a high-growth MNC environment

Skills and experience required

You must hold a recognized degree in accounting, an ACCA qualification, or a professional equivalent, backed by at least two years of relevant experience . As this role manages the Japan market, proficiency in Japanese (JLPT N2 or equivalent) is required to effectively communicate with local stakeholders and process Japanese-language financial documentation.
