In this position, you will take ownership of general ledger maintenance, management reporting, and statutory compliance functions to ensure the integrity of financial data. Core responsibilities involve executing timely month-end and year-end closing cycles, managing comprehensive account reconciliations, and preparing detailed audit schedules for internal and external reviews. Additionally, you will contribute significantly to key financial cycles including annual budgeting exercises, tax compliance matters, and financial analysis to support strategic decision-making. The role also provides opportunities to evaluate existing workflows, drive accounting process enhancements, and participate in ad-hoc corporate projects.
skills and experience required.
You should possess a recognized degree in accountancy or an equivalent professional qualification, paired with a solid understanding of financial accounting principles and Singapore Financial Reporting Standards. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in standard productivity software and possess an advantage if they have prior exposure to enterprise resource planning systems.
