Reporting into the Group Chief Executive Officer, you will lead the global HR function and manage a team of 40+ consisting of both direct and indirect reports across Asia Pacific and Europe. The role will be responsible for shaping the organizational culture for the global business and partner closely with the leadership team including C-Suites. In addition, you will:
- Serve as an Advisor to the C-Suites; be responsible for all business partnering across the global and regional business leaders to deliver HR solutions to the business with a strong focus on HR strategy, talent management, organizational effectiveness, change management and strategic alignment
- Drive the transformation of the global HR platform, setting up of COEs, spearhead global performance appraisal exercise, alignment of digital transformation and effectiveness, best practices, enhance HR capabilities and people strategy / agenda
- Support post-M&A harmonization and alignment of HR policies and practices, ensuring the processes are delivered to the businesses in accordance with agreed service quality, legal and regulatory compliance
- Lead employee engagement and communication regionally; implementing effective communication channels and initiatives to drive towards a positive work environment
- Manage all local, regional and corporate HR reports and lead all global HR projects
skills and experience required
- Minimum 20 years of experience in Human Resources, of which 10 years within a global leadership capacity
- Global experience preferred within manufacturing or engineering sectors
- Experience overseeing M&A processes and pre/post harmonization is essential
- Proven experience in leading cross functional teams, strong business acumen with ability to drive HR strategies across markets
- Excellent knowledge of Best Practices in HR across various regions, change management and talent management
- Good understanding of regional employment laws, regulations and compliance requirements
- Track record in partnering with senior leaders and C-Suites to drive strategies and operational excellence
- Candidates with strong experience within Asia-Pacific markets within CHRO / CPO positions will be considered
