As the Head of the Talent and Learning Centre of Excellence, you will lead multiple teams across the Talent Management, Learning & Development, Organisational Development and Culture & Engagement functions to drive the talent strategy. This role reports to the Group Head of Human Resources.
Responsibilities include:
Talent Management
- Develop and lead the execution of a comprehensive talent management strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Lead strategic workforce planning initiatives, partnering with business leaders to forecast future talent needs based on long-term strategies.
- Design and implement robust talent assessment and succession planning frameworks, in order to support leadership pipelining and high-potential talent identification.
Learning & Development
- Develop and deliver an innovative Learning & Development strategy that addresses the diverse skill requirements of various business units, from frontline service excellence to leadership capabilities.
- Champion a culture of continuous learning by implementing blended learning solutions, leveraging learning technologies, and fostering knowledge sharing across the organisation.
- Establish metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of L&D programmes, ensuring alignment with business goals.
Organisational Development
- Craft change management frameworks and methodologies, providing employees of all levels with the appropriate resources to effectively plan, execute and sustain complex organisational changes.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve team effectiveness and leadership capabilities at all levels, supporting overall organisational health.
Culture & Engagement
- Design and spearhead initiatives to foster a vibrant, inclusive and high-performing culture across the organisation.
- Lead comprehensive employee engagement initiatives, utilising regular feedback mechanisms (e.g., surveys, focus groups) to identify key drivers of engagement and create action plans to drive a sense of belonging.
- Spearhead internal communications strategies to ensure clarity, in order to promote employee advocacy and engagement.
skills and experience required
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, or a related field, with at least 15 years of experience in Talent Management, Learning & Development and Organisational Development.
- Successfully led and developed large, high-performing teams within matrixed, enterprise-scale organizations.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficient in navigating ambiguous environments and complexity.
