Our client is a premier Global Private Bank currently undergoing a strategic expansion of its footprint in the region. Known for its principled yet sophisticated approach to wealth management, the bank serves Ultra-High-Net-Worth (UHNW) individuals and family offices. While they possess a robust international pedigree, they are now establishing a localized, dedicated research powerhouse to better serve their bespoke clientele.about the job
As the Head of Investment Research, you will be the inaugural hire for this function, offering a rare opportunity to build a research department from the ground up. This is not a "maintenance" role; you will be the primary architect of the bank's house view, responsible for:
Designing and implementing the framework for macro-economic analysis and asset allocation.
Translating complex market data into actionable investment themes for Relationship Managers and HNW clients.
Sitting on the Investment Committee to steer the bank’s long-term portfolio strategies.
Acting as the "face" of the bank's intellectual capital at high-level client seminars and media appearances.
about the manager/team
You will report directly to the Chief Investment Officer (CIO) and work in close partnership with the Head of Products and Sales. Because this is the first role of its kind within this entity, you will initially operate as a high-impact individual contributor with a clear mandate to hire and mentor a team of analysts as the function scales. The culture is collaborative, meritocratic, and prizes intellectual curiosity over rigid hierarchy.

Knowledge: Deep expertise across multi-asset classes (Equities, Fixed Income, and Alternatives).
Leadership: Proven track record of building functions or leading high-performing research teams.
Communication: Exceptional ability to articulate market views to non-technical audiences and UHNW clients through professional presentations and written reports.
Education: CFA or Master’s degree in Economics/Finance is highly preferred.
