Reporting to the HR Director, this role is a 1-year contract position for an Assistant HR Manager/HRBP. You will be a strategic partner, aligning business objectives with employees and management. Your primary focus will be on Singapore, but the role may expand to cover additional markets as the business grows.
Key responsibilities include:
Partnering with the HR Director and business leaders to support strategic and operational goals.
Developing and managing the full spectrum of HR functions, including recruitment, compensation & benefits, learning & development, and employee relations.
Managing payroll administration and the entire employee lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding for the Singapore office.
Providing HR guidance on workforce planning, talent acquisition, performance management, and succession planning.
Driving employee engagement initiatives and developing a strong company culture.
Analyzing HR metrics and trends to develop solutions that support business outcomes.
Coaching managers on effective people management strategies.
Ensuring compliance with labor laws and supporting diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives.
skills and experience required
Degree-qualified in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
At least 7 years of progressive HR experience. Prior experience in the Technology industry with regional and HR department setup exposure is preferred.
Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices in Singapore, with a preference for experience in Southeast Asia or APAC.
Experience in change management and organizational development is required.
A data-driven approach with strong analytical skills.
Must be a self-motivated, detail-oriented, and organized individual with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
