As a HR Business Partner, you will play a crucial role, serving as both a strategic HR advisor and a proactive talent acquisition specialist.
Talent Acquisition (70%):
- Drive the strategic recruitment mandate, with a specific focus on retail hiring to directly support the company's business expansion goals.
- Conduct on-the-ground operational reviews to proactively identify and address immediate and future organizational talent gaps.
- Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with universities and polytechnics to spearhead the long-term pipelining of early career talent.
- Collaborate with the broader HR team to develop and execute innovative strategies that strengthen the employer brand and attract high-calibre candidates.
HR Business Partnering (30%):
- Act as the dedicated face of HR, partnering closely with department heads and store managers to align talent strategies with critical business unit needs.
- Conduct proactive attrition trend analysis and propose data-driven, strategic interventions to enhance employee engagement and retention across the organization.
- Provide comprehensive support for the full spectrum of HR functions, including supporting the end-to-end employee lifecycle from on-boarding to off-boarding process, driving employee engagement programs, and leading negotiations with HR vendors.
skills and experience required
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5-7 years of progressive HR Business Partnering and Talent Acquisition experience, ideally within the retail or FMCG industry.
- Strong foundational knowledge of Singapore employment law and HR best practices.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and robust stakeholder management skills with a proactive, solution-oriented approach.
- Detail-oriented with agility to thrive in a dynamic environment.
