The HR Deputy Director will play a pivotal role in driving strategic HR initiatives and operational excellence. This position will support the Head of Human Resources in developing and implementing HR strategies aligned with the company's business objectives, particularly focusing on talent management, organizational development, and a comprehensive Compensation & Benefits (C&B) framework. Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic HR Leadership & Partnership:
- Collaborate with the Head of HR and senior leadership to translate business strategy into actionable HR plans and initiatives.
- Act as a trusted advisor to business unit leaders on all HR-related matters, including organizational design, talent planning, and change management.
- Drive the implementation of HR programs that enhance employee engagement, productivity, and retention in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Lead and mentor a team of 10+ HR professionals, fostering their development and ensuring high-quality HR service delivery.
- Compensation & Benefits (C&B) Management:
- Design, implement, and manage competitive and equitable compensation and benefits programs that attract, retain, and motivate top talent in the semiconductor industry.
- Conduct regular market benchmarking and salary surveys to ensure compensation structures remain competitive and aligned with industry standards in Singapore and globally.
- Oversee the annual salary review process, bonus schemes, and long-term incentive plans, ensuring fairness, transparency, and adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Manage employee benefits programs (e.g., health insurance, retirement plans, wellness initiatives), optimizing their value and ensuring compliance.
- Develop and communicate C&B policies and guidelines to employees and management, ensuring clear understanding and consistent application.
- Analyze C&B data to identify trends, provide insights, and recommend strategic adjustments to enhance overall employee value proposition.
- Talent Management & Organizational Development:
- Oversee the full talent lifecycle, including talent acquisition, onboarding, performance management, career development, and succession planning.
- Develop and implement robust learning and development programs to upskill the workforce.
- Lead initiatives related to employee relations, ensuring a fair and equitable work environment and effective resolution of workplace issues.
- HR Operations & Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with all local labor laws, regulations, and industry-specific requirements in Singapore.
- Oversee HR data management, reporting, and analytics to provide insights for strategic decision-making.
- Drive continuous improvement in HR processes and systems, leveraging HR technology to enhance efficiency and employee experience.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10-12 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role within the manufacturing industry.
- Proven expertise in designing and managing comprehensive Compensation & Benefits programs, including salary structures, incentive plans, and benefits programmes.
- Strong understanding of Singapore labor laws and regulations.
- Demonstrated ability to partner with senior business leaders and influence strategic decisions.
- Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
- Experience with HRIS systems and HR analytics tools.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
