End-to-End HR Operations & Compliance
Policy Management: Develop, document, and implement foundational HR policies, procedures, and employee handbook in line with local labor laws and best practices.
Work Passes: Manage basic processes for employee work passes and compliance.
P-File Management: Maintain accurate and confidential employee personnel files and records.
Compliance Audits: Conduct regular internal audits to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies.
2. Payroll and Benefits Administration
Payroll Processing: Own the end-to-end monthly payroll cycle for all employees, ensuring accuracy, timely submission, and compliance with all tax and statutory requirements.
Benefits Management: Administer employee benefits programs, managing enrollment, changes, and annual renewals.
Leave Management: Oversee all leave administration (e.g., vacation, sick, parental leave) in accordance with company policy and legal mandates.
Compensation: Assist in benchmarking and structuring compensation bands to ensure internal equity and market competitiveness.
3. Talent Acquisition & Onboarding
Recruitment Support: Manage the hiring process for all roles, including job posting, candidate screening, scheduling interviewsetc.
Offer Management: Generate and extend professional offer letters and employment contracts.
Onboarding: Design and execute a seamless, engaging onboarding program to ensure new hires are set up for success from Day 1.
4. Employee Relations & Culture
First Point of Contact: Serve as the initial point of contact for employees regarding HR queries, policy interpretations, and concerns.
Performance Management: Support managers in administering performance review cycles and addressing performance improvement plans (PIPs).
Culture: Act as a champion for the company culture, assisting with employee engagement initiatives, team events, and internal communications.
skills and experience required
3-5 years of progressive HR experience, preferably within a startup or small-to-midsize company.
Proven experience independently running end-to-end payroll (processing, tax filing, and compliance).
Deep understanding of the labor laws, employment standards, and statutory requirements.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a high degree of discretion and professionalism in handling confidential information.
