HR Generalist Support: Serve as a trusted advisor to assigned business units on all HR matters, including recruitment, performance management, employee relations, compensation and benefits, payroll and training and development.
Recruitment & Onboarding: Partner with hiring managers to manage end-to-end recruitment for various roles, ensuring a smooth and positive experience for candidates and new hires.
Performance & Employee Relations: Provide guidance and support to managers on performance appraisals, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution, ensuring compliance with company policies and labor laws.
Budgeting & Financial Analysis:
Work directly with the Head of HR to prepare and manage the annual HR budget.
Actively track and report on HR expenses, including headcount, salaries, bonuses, and benefits, identifying any variances from the budget.
Utilize advanced Excel functions (e.g., PivotTables, VLOOKUP, SUMIF) to analyze HR data, model different scenarios, and create detailed reports for senior leadership.
Policy & Compliance: Stay current on all local employment laws and banking regulations to ensure HR policies and procedures are compliant and up-to-date.
skills and experience required
A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Proven experience as an HR Generalist, preferably within the financial services sector.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels.
Familiarity with HR Information Systems (HRIS) - Workday.
A high degree of integrity and confidentiality.
